I like the look of these, and we are thinking of possibly changing our Sterling. Would you buy a Bailey Unicorn, pros and cons? Has anyone else received notification from the Caravan Company that they have bought up Discover Leisure unsold stock (which is why I am asking), saw a Unicorn Barcelona recently and thought it was lovely, Finedon branch of the Caravan Company have one.
I may be mistaken, but wasnt it the Unicorn that had the problems of being extremely nose-heavy, with very few veichles having the capacity of being able to tow it safely?
It may be worth doing a search on the subject to find the threads on here where this was mentioned.

There has been much discussion on this forum about the Unicorn noseweights. We're very happy owners of a Unicorn Valencia and have had no such problems. I'm quite mindful of this sort of thing and check before every trip.
We love our Unicorn and wouldn't change it for the world!!
Most people use a noseweight gauge which you can buy from most caravan outlets or you can buy online. I use one of these but I bought mine second hand off Ebay for £5.00 including the p&p.
We just upgraded from a pegasus 514 to a unicorn cabrera
i cant fault it the build quality is top notch and the alde heating wonderful when you figure it out!!

The Unicorn had a recall on wheel detachment. You need to ensure you have revised wheel nuts and you need to check them with a torque wrench each journey. My Valencia was well over on nose weight but thanks to Trading Standards it has been sorted by a very reluctant dealer who is now trying to charge over the fixed price service charge to recoup!
We had a Coachman Pastiche 535/4 as our first van and it was great but we felt the need for an End Bathroom we then purchased the Coachman Pastiche 560/4 which gave us the end bathroom at the cost of shorter front seats and less internal storage unfortunately it just didn't do it for me.
Just been informed that out new Barcelona is now at the dealership and in the process of finalising arrangements to collect after Motor Mover is fitted along with T.V Satellite Connections being fitted.
Always wanted a Twin Axle and its hard to compare against the Single Axle vans we had but with the End Bathroom, longer front seating, far more internal storage and general space we can't wait to collect and then go onto a site for a few days.
Always been told that Coachman were a strong well built van but I noticed little things and attention to detail that went against that thought, will be interesting when we collect the Barcelona and start making some comparisons etc.
