This isn't the answer you want - I'd buy a cheaper one and spend the difference on more touring!

If you were going to buy an Isabella full awning for touring, long weekends and the summer 2-3 week break which one would you buy
Try preloved or ebay? Out of our price range, to be honest. They is no doubt about the quality of the awning, IMHO, but there are things to consider. How often to you change your van? Are you like me, and if you change your van would you insist on a nice new awning to match? Would you really sell the old one/ get it altered, or would it gather dust in the cupboard underneath the stairs. Consider these points before parting with cash. They would all contibute towards my decision to go for a cheaper option. Do you think that in most cases, the cheaper ones are likely to last as long as the van?

I like the Isabella Commodore. We were going to buy a full length Isabella but caravan we bought came with a Bradcot so stuck with that which has been great. Im glad we didn't now though because as we are likely to change the van every few years as the childrens needs change, we have bought an Isabella Magnum instead which will continue to fit most vans whereas a full awning size is likely to differ from van to van and I'd be gutted to have to sell it on.

Just love it because its diferent from the norm.
Harder to put up than the others but does look stunning once up
It looks a lovely awning, but I wonder how practical I would find it for touring. Do you ever have difficulty in finding a big enough pitch?

I love this awning but it would be too much for us to put up.

We went to the NEC to but a full Isabella awning. We came away with the large porch with annex and canopy at the front.
It just gives us more scope to use what we want as we need it. We only ever really need a full one for our main holiday. But this porch setup is almost as big!!

We splashed out on a Opus 300 to fit our new van and love it! Very straight forward to put up (has the carbon poles) and the extra depth makes all the difference. We picked up last year's model at 40% off. Was still £1k though! We intend keeping this van for a long time but Isabella do hold their prices quite well if we need to sell.
I'm not sure we could go back to any other make of full awning now! We do have a Kampa Rally 390 for weekends and short breaks although it doesn't take us much longer to put up the Isabella. It is more for the practicalities of drying the material if it has to be packed away wet.

I am with the majority here that a full awning is too much for touring or long weekends. a 2-3 week break is ideal for a full awning.
Not sure if you are aware, but Isabella also have a slightly cheaper range - Ventura
