Does anyone have an Isabella Magnum Porch Awning?. After much humming and Harring my Hubby has just ordered one from Michael Jordan. It looks the bees knees, just hope it's worth the extra pennies. Any advice would be much appreciated. :-).
We bought the Isabella minor porch awning, we wanted the magnum but it wouldn't of fitted right on our caravan, would of half covered windows which the guy didn't recommend, but a good awning, simple to erect & lightweight for travelling. excellent quality.

We've only used ours once (and have had it for 16 months), but loved it, hubby could put it up on his own, plenty of room for the two of us, and will fit anysize 'van. The only reason we haven't used it is because we haven't been away for a sizeable amount of time in our caravan since we bought it.
We have the magnum and love it. Great quality awning with plenty of space for table and chairs, coats, shoes and cadac! OH puts ours up by himself - it was a bit fiddly first time round but I've heard lots of Isabella owners say the same.
Thanks for the comments guys. It's good to hear such positive feedback. Looking forward to the weekend when we have the van out and can try out the Isabella. Who would have thought that buying an awning would be so exciting, Have just booked 2 weeks at Carloyn Bay, Cornwall..........bring on the summer!!!.xx
Hiya Tabitha! We have the Isabella Minor but it is fantastic quality - worth every penny. Has withstood highwinds and torrential rain!! Couldn't have the Magnum cos of the window problem .
I find it very misleading in the 2012 brochure because most of the porch awnings are shown with the pole going over a window. I know it's not recommended but just wanted to ask if anyone has one (Magnum) that they fit over a window?
We have recently taken delivery of a new Magnum, with annex and front canopy. We decided that now the kids aren't coming with us, that it was the best set up to have. It can then be assembled to suit our needs.
Ours will fit halfway over a window too, But we have the flat side windows, so all I need to do is make sure I protect the surface with something soft.
We've not had the chance to put it up yet. We will at easter in france. It will be interesting to see how easy they are to assemble.

The Magnum is simple to put up, even single handed. The 'trick' is to fit the centre vertical and its corresponding ridge pole as the fist poles to go up and last to come down. Then the assembly is self supporting and the other poles can be fitted or removed at ease.
The Tall annex is far more fiddly and time consuming, the Future annex appears to have overcome this and looks a doddle. We are stuck with the Tall, lovely annex when up but hard work.
