looks like it could be a reasonable weekend so off up to the N Yorks moors for a steady first trip of the year.
just dont like the first trip preparation after removing virtually everything for service and mid winter lay up.Bound to forget something vital !!

yes we are off to canterbury at weekend, second trip for us,weather forecast looks promising so fingers crossed, also just had mad suspension springs fitted to my car and want to see if it improves ride etc. have a good weekend

We came back from our first trip at the weekend, next one in six weeks, cant wait.

We were caught out with one night. We use standard blue gas which has always been fine before in Feb, but stopped working on our first night away when the temperatures got down to -11. Note to self, change to orange bottle before the next winter trip.

This meant we also had to rely on our electric heating which was fun. The fan heater was no were near man enough on its own, even when run for a couple of hours. However, if we went over to the convector heater setting, it was up to plus 21 in about half an hour.

Enjoy yourselves all those getting out to camp. Jealous I am as I have a long way to go yet.Besides still a bit too cold for these old bones as yet.Including this one we have another 10 weekends and off on the 11th, Good grief thats another 3 months

Nothing future booked until April, but including New Year gave done 3 trips away already. The van has kept us lovely & warm, but we did have to use gas when we were away at Abbey Wood to take the residual chill off the van.
