Does any of you caravanners have food shopping delivered to site when you are on hoilday, going away august for 10 night to cornwall, 350mile trip dont fancy lugging all that extra weight, when i can have it delivered after i have set up?
I`ve never had any prob`s on any sites I`ve been to in Cornwall,on two big meets theres been as many as 7 differant vans delivering from differant supermarkets, most ordered thier stuff before they went away, and had it delivered on the day & time they got on site.

If you cant do someone a good turn, don`t do them a bad one,its nice to be nice you know, and little things mean much more later in life.

I am a little disappointed to read Paul's response as above.
Scot may not wish to trail around local shops on day one after what would appear to be a very long journey. He may want to just start enjoying his holiday doing better things.
Sorry, it was a genuine question which did not warrant such a sarcastic response!
That's a bit harsh Paul, how do you know the OP isn't disabled and can't traipse round the shops, or the fact that they might just want to kick back and have a holiday from all the mundane things like shopping, and fancy having it delivered. To say someone is a tad lazy is rather rude.
Anyway I've not had anything delivered on site but seen plenty who do, so I'm sure it's quite straight forward.

Adopt a rescue, rescue dogs make great pets, don't support puppy farms.
The road can be tough and rough, but what you put in you get back 10 x more.
I take enough for the first few days, then enjoy going to the local shops and the big super markets.I have never had food delivered and never would consider it,Like it has been said each to their own for whatever reason.
I am not a lazy person and would have no hesitation in getting food delivered. We always have shopping delivered to our holiday cottage. Don't make assumptions!

Personally I hate food shopping anyway. If I was going somewhere for a week or a fortnight and could have it delivered, especially if it's a long long drive, then I would go for it! Shopping for food is necessary if you want to eat, but not really on my list of things to do whilst on holiday!
I love looking around the smaller local food shops, so wouldn't get food delivered.
We eat out quite a lot but we do eat differently when we're away anyway - much more bbq and treats!
But each to their own.

Have shopping delivered at home but hadn't considered it on holiday until I read this. What a good idea.
I don't think it's lazy - I've much better things to do on holiday than push a trolley round Tescos and I don't like taking too much with me - overloading the van and car with extra unecessary weight.
