Ok so we went to buy some toilet blue today and nearly brought a Bailey Pegasus bologna twin axle with fixed bed and end washroom ,the sales man did the figures and the deal sounded right,did I do the right thing by putting my foot down and saying NO I assume she will start talking to me again some day , and does anyone have one of these and give me a bad report for me to show her ?

So whats the secret to being allowed any kind of input to such major decisions?   Is not just "being told " the norm. Does it involve pain? Is it worth it?

We looked at the bologna earlier in the year, we still like the idea although there is nothing wrong with the van we have. I think we are still convincing ourselves that we NEED one rather than WANT one!!!!

Yes we did buy the toilet blue,and words have been spoken this evening when I came home from work I was greeted with a spread sheet!!!! Showing how we can afford the new van!!!!!

If she's anything like me I told my hubby the same thing, I couldn't sleep thinking about it, and how our caravan trips would be so much better If we had a fixed bed and that we would want to go away for longer periods of time bla bla.....it worked though, so resistance is futile lol.

Its no good Shogun 30 try all you want you will crack in the end!!

With us it was the other way round, We had a two year old Crusader and I wanted the new model with Aldi heating. The wife was totally against changing the van (after two years) but I played on the fact that she wants to sit in a furnace (or so it seems to me) most of the time and explained how good the new Aldi system is against the blown air system.

I love the new van but now she knows how to work the Aldi system, I am not so sure I should have suggested the new one, now I have to wait until she has gone to sleep then open the window next to me wide up all night behind the blackout blind so I can get to sleep without cooking and I mean winter as well LOL......

Been there got the Tshirt. only went for a ground sheet. Yep new van!! Dave got the same problem, sleeping in a bloody furnace now that she in doors has worked out how to work the Aldi heating I too have the window wide open at nite. Yep, Shogun only time mate
