When you go to pick it up double check there is no damp under the locker trays in the front and check there is no water in the tray in the gas locker. Ask the dealer to remove the trays.
Otherwise good luck with your new van. Best to order before they wreck the design of the Pegasus next year by making it like the Unicorn.
We went yesterday and I was hoping to get a deal (show offer or something) but to no avail, was offered the going rate for mine but nothing different to what I could do a deal at any dealers. I'm taking it in for it's service today will have a look at the dealers, but it is the dearest place around here..
not jealous much , enjoy your new 'van, i know we would.
one reason i don't go to shows like that is i hate window shopping, knowing that i'm going to see something i really like and really want but am not in a position to buy right now
------------- no tin tent outings booked as yet ,just another cruise in Sept' booked so far
Congratulations with your new purchase, we went on Tuesday to look at the Elddis Tempest and loved it, perfect family van for us.. Just trying to get my head round best way to level a twin axle from side to side and the prospect of jacking it up to put the wheel locks on... Any advice appreciated.
Fatal going to caravan shows we always go with NO intentions to buy and come away having ordered a new caravan, did it again on Thursday ordered a Coachman Platinum pastiche 460 delivery February some time......lol
And us only went today to look .........new baileys poor build quality (not a patch on our unicorn series 1)the swift range all looked similar just with different names and decals ,new ettertii great idea very poor finish looked like a pre production prototype couldnt see the £25k asking price ended up with a new elldis super sirocco ,got a great px price same stand different dealer £1000 extra on the px price, can't wait until January to pick it up

I blame it on my life motto millermicm... You only live once... Justifies a multitude of sins and spontaneous decisions in my life but all works out for the best!
It sounds like there are going to be some nice vans on the sites next year. We ordered a Buccaneer Clipper after getting a bit more part ex than we expected.
Another one bites the dust. We went Friday. Honestly only to have a look around and buy an awning tensioner. Came out after ordering a Elddis Avante 540. Got an amazing deal so mustn't grumble, still don't know how the wife does it , went in for a £20 tool came out £16000 lighter.
Recession... What recession. We went for the first time as we are new to the scene, with no intention of buying a new caravan. Came away having ordered a brand new 2013 Swift 2 berth. The dealer we bought from had sold over 100 at the show by mid day on Sunday !!
Have to admit I'm sad to be leaving the Swift/Sterling family but I think Swift and most of the other suppliers are missing a trick by not making top end spec vans for families. Key for us was getting a family friendly layout on a van that had Alde heating, could not contemplate any new van without having had it, anyone else feel the same?
