Hi, did anyone spot Hesse at the NEC. We were pretty impressed, what do you think?

Curved roof, slide out side, top end BPW chassis, extended A frame for more stable pull. Lovely looking vans.

I like them to look at, would I buy one? I would definitely wait a few years first, to see if they hang around, and what others thought about theirs.

It's the 140 kg payload in a 2 tonne, 4 berth twin axle van that kills it for me.
A 4 wheel mover knocks 80 off that!

Yes you can buy the chassis upgrade but then its a 2.2 tonne van so the tow vehicle choice is very limited; Transit?

It is easy to like but fails on more detailed looking.

The lightest one from memory was around 1500 kg mtplm up to 2000 kg at the heaviest,,,,, I think. The manufacturers are saying that with the latest advances with the BPW format that heavier weights can be towed safely. 4Wd not needed also stated in the brochure.

I've got to say, it's the closest I've come to purchasing a van at the NEC show. They were rather,,,,,,nice,,,,,,,considering trading the wife in for one Lol.

Yes they do look good. Thanks for posting. It's very interesting but this economic downturn won't make it an easy market to break into when there is a lot of competition around.
Certainly outside the price range of lots of caravanners especially with the expensive optional extras and probable need for a very large tow car.
But if I won the lottery ...........

Interesting there are few comments on here about the Stealth and waiting to see if they are still around in a few years, I think that is probably their greatest challenge given the current climate, the Dunster Stealth experience will have done Eterniti no favours at all as many of us half expect the same outcome given such established stiff opposition

Very good looking, but expensive. Not sure whether the bit of extra floor space warrants the hefty price tag, but I haven't seen it in the,flesh.

build quality of the vans at the show seemed very poor especially internal fixtures

When was the last time a new manufacturer lasted longer than the warranty they were offering on the caravans.

Hi, they are more impressive up close than on the web page. I was on their pitch for about an hour and chatted to quite a few others who thought the same. I think the salesman mentioned that they were close to filling their books for 2013, and that they maxed out in 2012.

As long as they are operating within their financial limits and maxing on production, with proper financial management they shouldn't go far wrong.

The direct selling process is a model that might not be that great. I wouldn't purchase a new van unless I was familiar with it and its a bit of a way to drive. Fair enough if you are purchasing a table lamp, but not for a Van.

So anyone not having been to the show to see them, unless willing to travel would or have this brand on their list of possibles.

As for the vans, If their success is based on this alone I don't think they will have any issues. They are unique in several ways which place them literally above anything else I've seen.

I wish them all the best, its really good to see companies not following the status quo, or the cheapest production method and embracing progress.

Sold out for production until may so I guess the reviews will come soon. I like the look of them but as width seems to be main pitch constraint at campsites,I feel it will restrict where you can take it with a slide out on one side and an awning on the other. They would also be better if you could use van without needing to use the slide out but probably defeats object. I feel overall general reception seems better respected than Dunster House but time will no doubt tell.
