It is the best feeling in the world when you get a new caravan. I hope that you really enjoy it. Don't feel bad if you want to just sit it in on the drive with a coffee, we always have and still do!
Have you been accessory shopping yet? That is also very exciting if not sometimes a bit pricey. Have a great time and careful how you go, particularly if you are not experienced towers. See you on a site sometime!
Can relate to that Alastair used to sit in the caravan in drive way when season was approaching. Neighbours must have thought we had finally flipped haha
I'm so envious Julia.... we were window shopping again today, but not buying till the winter....I want one right now. :)
When's your first trip?

We want to get away for the bank holiday weekend but somewhere fairly close as it will be the first time out.
welcome to the world of tin tent's, we were just the same when we moved across from wobbly walled tents, now we wonder how how we ever managed canvas camping
------------- no tin tent outings booked as yet ,just another cruise in Sept' booked so far
Hi
We have ours on a seasonal pitch and Have been to it for the first time this weekend. Never had a tourer before and read as much as possible, also asked questions on here and everyone was a great help but we were still very nervous when we arrived at the site. Once we got everything sorted, electric, gas, water, waste etc it was fine and we really enjoyed it. Had a couple of hiccups but was soon sorted with help from the site owners and a lovely couple we met there.
Have a wonderful time everyone with your caravans and I hope the weather is nice this Summer for us all!
If your not experienced towers then make sure you do your research on loading, don't over load the car and load the van incorrectly as it will spoil the journey for you, enjoy your many holidays, we love it, been four times already this year , we have sited ours mind you.
Hi Julia.
Congrats on your purchase. We picked up our first van 4weeks ago and have been away every weekend since. We wish we had done it years ago. It is a steep learning curve but we are loving every minute of it.
Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
