I have bought and used tha Universal Annexe and attached it to our Isabella Capri Lux awning and it was fine and we used it several times.  The only couple of minor disappointments were that the metal eyelets come off easy but you can stil peg the item down without them. Also there was a small gap (about 5 cms) between the caravan and the annexe but on the whole it served us excellently and was lot cheaper than tall annexes.

We have Bradcot awning and a Bradcot annexe (short/sloping version) to be honest if it had not come with the van I would have gone for the the tall version as the sloping version offers only storage or a sleeping area with no head room. so if you get the chance the tall version is the best option.

You need a annex specific for the pulllman although same annex will fit the sterling model . On the nr website they have the tall annex for £188 new.
Other Nr awnings have different zip configurations. Hope this helps

Universal annexes I think i am right in saying don't have zips but fit into the side opening and are tied some how to the awning frame. Obviously there will be gaps.
Try youtube for universal annexe. You never know some one may have put some thing on which will give you a better idea.
I remember Nr selling some Harrinsons annexes a while back which they said fitted some nr awnings. could be worth a ring as they may still have some stock and you could pick one up at a reasonable price.

Some awnings are 2.4 metres wide (from door side) and others are 3 metres so you need to check first which one you need otherwise it could either be too wide or too narrow which ever the case may be. Also if you buy an NR Pullman annexe you can guarantee that the zips will be fully interlocking as they will be an identical match for joining the annexe to the main awning.

I use the NR Tall annexe and they are great. They are huge.It fits perfect. I have the Nr Executive awning and it uses the same annexed as the pulman. I purchased mine(3 years ago direct from NR) with the bedroom inner tent. We are considering selling our van so make me an offer on the annexe and I will speak to OH. I can't see from your profile where you are located.

I had one of the universal awnings and if fitted correctly it was just ok.only works on a fully zipped out panel.the awning ties onto your frames of the main awning.the biggest problem was the rear roof area collected water in a downpour quite badly.we replaced with a material zip in and this was much warmer when fitted.

the only silly question is the one you do not ask.

Hi
I tried a universal on my NR awning (I think it's a Pullman!) and it was rubbish, took it down straight away - rubbish fit and fixings. I also have a proper zip-in annexe, only a low one, but it is great and you can also zip the side panel back in to creat a more private space. I'm on the lookout for another now for the other end. the main thing to check is the make of the zip, usually YKK and the number of teeth to the inch and the total length of the zip - then you should be ok. annexes aren't usually marked with the manufacturers name so always check!!! Don't believe a seller just because they say it should fit! Good luck!

Yes, a universal annex fits- we have one and have used it. Last week, pouring with rain and it remained dry. A small space between the awning and annex at one side but it didnt really make too much difference. Sleeper said it was fine and he had a good sleep (hubby - also calls it the kennel. He slept there because we had grandson and caravan was a two berth). Anyway it did the job. I should add that we will only use it occasionally and would buy the real McCoy if it were getting used often.
