I'm sorry I don't know enough about these motor movers as I'm just looking into having one. But on a lot of electrical have you tried disconnecting it from the main battery then reconnecting it, as with a lot of electrical things sometimes need a hard reset. Or made sure the main battery is ok.

I take it that you have bought a new leisure battery and also bought a new battery for the remote control unit to operate it and you have no power at all. Check to see that you haven't got a blown fuse and that the leisure battery is fully charged with a multi-meter as your old leisure battery may be still okay. If the problem is down a blown fuse then you have a spare leisure battery.
Thanks for that will go out in the morning and get a new fuse, it is a 20 amp fuse it says.. fingers crossed, it worked perfect in sept and have had the van covered all winter and remote has been indoors.
thanks sharon
Ours has a separate key/switch next to the battery. Might be a silly question, but have you checked its switched on there? Easily forgotten if you've not used it for a while?
I was standing by mine a few trips ago wondering why nothing was happening before realising I hadn't engaged the mover with the van wheels. No one was watching thankfully
As a word of advice, the best policy would be to buy a pack of fuses of various ratings and keep them in the caravan as spares as you never know when the unexpected strikes and one needs replacing. Hope it is just the fuse that's the problem but if you do happen fix it will you still be able to accomplish your holiday in North Devon?
Hi tango55
hope so,we had to cancel our over night stop just off A303 at the CC SITE we now may have the 14 day penalty so may have to stop over some where else then down to north devon. oh I do hope it is only the fuse. thanks
Fingers crossed for you then and hope you sort the problem out as it's sad to hear that someone has to cancel their holiday through teething problems. Good luck and if you do manage to get away I hope you have nice weather and a relaxing time away.
If the mover has not been used for a while the brushes on the motor might be stuck causing a fuse to blow.Try giving the motors a chap with a rubber hammer or lightly with a steel one,,
Have a read of problems in general 3/4 of the way down the page http://www.1carpc.co.uk/wcdr/motor-mover-information.htm , you could also try contacting Keith via his website link , second link up from the bottom of the page . Tell him your a ukcampsite member , it may help .
Hi thanks all for your help.we have tried a new fuse ,and tapped on the brushes ,but still no red light in the box in the caravan and no sound or movement coming from the motor mover.the handset is fine flashes and is green. will contact the service desk at our dealers in the morning. so no holiday, having to unpack the caravan all sad.....
Sharon
Can't you contact a local mobile service engineer and explain your dilemma that you can't away for your booked holiday. They may attend promptly and get your mover fixed straight away to get you on the road and to your destination.
