There are loads of aerial options, but most seem to carry the usual 'dedicated caravan' price tag.
However, a colleague of mine has recently equipped himself with an aerial kit from Toolstation and he's been impressed with it. Supplied with mast, aerial and cabling for a fraction of the 'dedicated' type, it might be worth following the link for a look.
The only other thing I'd suggest in addition, is a decent signal strength meter to make setting up a doddle.
In my opinion, the best for our sort of use is the Fringe Electronics UHF Signal Finder (3rd item on link page) which makes setting the aerial direction a breeze.

Go to ASDA home stores and pick up one of there basic digital Ariel, you will need a pole on 3 or 4 sections about 4 mtr tall, in aluminium for lightness. maybe some older tent or awning poles that have a large diameter will suffice.
This what i use and have never had any problems with it. Just look where everybody else is pointing and do the same. Some sites might have tv thro the EHU bollard, again in which case get a 20mtr length of extension cable again asda about £5.00 and connect via this. do not buy from site more like £15 to £20.00 for same thing.
Reading you other posts you do not have to buy the proprietary equipment, just a bit of common sense normally makes thinks much cheaper.
Hi Babyfish, you have probably got a 'flying saucer' type aerial on the roof of your caravan and a signal booster in a cupboard in the caravan and an aerial socket somewhere near an electric plug. If you have this set up then before you buy anything new try using this. I have got this set up and have no trouble receiving the freeview channels. I just re- tune the tv when I arrive at wherever I am.
If you have no aerial whatsoever on your caravan then go with the suggestions from the others above.
If you have a iphone you can download a app that find all the tv signals and the strengh of each signal, there is probably one for a android phone as well, its free to download and works everytime

iphone app sounds great :-)
There might also be a switch probably inside a nearby cupboard/wardrobe which switches on an aerial booster, this works off 12v usually as well. Do you have a saucer shaped round thing on the roof? If so, that's the aerial and the lead should be wired to the socket, hopefully!
However, on your drive, you might not get any channels/signal as the other houses might be in the way of the signal, so you might have to wait until you are on a campsite to find out if it works.
Ok then you will need to get an aerial as above. Friends that have got the aerial on a pole are very satisfied with reception. That will be the cheapest option. I am quite surprised there is an aerial socket but no aerial on the roof
Yes the adria altea socket near the tv connects to a socket under the EHU socket so you can plug an external aerial in. This cable would have to be re routed to the wardrobe if you had a permanent one fitted (in the wardrobe ceiling there is the drilling point marked for this).
