I`m not . . back to normal when this has run out. Which`ll be sooner than expected. Elsan Double Blue, and Elsan Double Rinse. . . .for the Organic Look! (too much information . . )

Another vote for Top n Tail, no awful chemical smell, no black bits, green so not caught out when sites request it, and it seems to cope with ... ahem ... everything!
------------- Im no cactus expert, but I know a prick when I see one!
I for the last two years have been simply using Tesco's Everyday Bio Washing liquid, a cap full each time.
I then aim to dump the loo every 24 hours as I age I find a full loo just too heavy.
The emzyes in the product "slurryfy" the contents better than anything else I have found and are suitable for use in septic systems found in many rural 5 van sites.
The £1.60 cost gives 28 charges so to empty each 24hours brings no real price penalty.

I must be on my own I think top n tail is awful. Dreadful smell. I didn't even use it all I threw it away. Elsan for me everytime.
Nope I can't stand the smell of it either. I would rather smell the contents of the cassette than that stuff. As they say your own sh*t doesn't smell

we tried the top and tail and it was c**p--back to Elsan double concentrate for us without a doubt. Tried the Campingaz type a few years ago and that was brill but it has disappeared.
Glad to see the back of the last bottle of Aldi's rubbishy Blue, back to Thetfords own or Elsan blue next time we buy.
A word of warning though to anyone with a new caravan still under warantee, if you read the small print, you maywell find that your guarantee for your loo is null and void should you be using anything other than the manufacturers recomended brands of chemical. It clearly says that some products will have a detrimental effect in the long term to the plastic and parts that your holding tank is made from.
I have often been temped to try a drop of the blue stuff we use for the digester system up on my Dads farm, its really good powerful stuff, with quite a pleasent smell to it, and it works out a lot cheaper than the stuff marketed for the camping world, but l dare not risk it after reading the small print of the warantee.
