Try Alphaline - made by Varta, and identical to the 'Numax' product (also a Varta battery)
See: http://www.thegreenlivingforum.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=106738:
We got one last year from Battery Megastore UK (they also sell on Ebay) and it's been excellent.
Battery Megastore are unusually honest for this day and age - shortly after buying our Alphaline I read the CC article about Banner' leisure batteries. (they were, apparently, one of only a couple out of a selection of leisure batteries tested by the CC that were anything like the stated amperage)
I decided that I needed a Banner battery and rang Battery Megastore to buy one (I was going to sell the almost new Alphaline)
They asked me if the caravan was fitted with a motor mover (yes) and then told me that the Alphaline was far better than the Banner battery for use in dual purpose situations (heavy short term discharge with the mover, and controlled discharge when in general caravan use)
The Banner battery was about £130, and I was keen to buy one - but Leisure Battery UK were honest enough to strongly advise me against it, even though they lost the sale.
Months on, I'm glad I listened to them - and their honestly was refreshing, and worth mentioning to others.
So, in summary, I'd say that if you have a motor mover, go for an Alphaline (it's a Varta with a an Alphaline sticker)
If you have no mover, go for a Banner battery - undoubtedly one of the best for slow discharge usage.
------------- I glanced in the mirror, and it was love at first sight...
