Any tips for winter storage would be appreciated. I know we don't need to empty heating as it's a new caravan with anti freeze (advised by dealer)
The van will be stored locally. I'm particularly interested in what to do with the blinds. Whenever we go to collect the caravan, it is very cold inside. Is this normal?
------------- Change what you can and accept what you can't.
Blinds up curtains drawn. You must fully drain the water system using the valve usually next to the water heater. Also leave taps open otherwise they will not drain.

Agree,if you leave blinds down it will weaken the springs. If possible, store the seating cusions at home.Deffo drain things inc toilet flush. If you dont it will damage and crack the tank. And we always leave them condensation things in,one at front of van and one at back. This helps keep moisture out of the air and prevents damp. They are not expensive.
Being cold inside is normal, like a building left unheated during winter, when you go inside it will be colder than the outside.
as long as you have drained the system everything will be ok, remember not to leave and bottles of liquid because these could freeze and burst
Wow! I know I'm new to this but I was told at the van handover by the guy to always pull the blinds down, when in storage between outings and during winter storage. Did it last year and had no probs, better start re thinking that now.
We leave the blinds up and the Curtains open but purchased from the sale bin at B+Q for £3 a set of curtains of which we peg around the van to prevent any sun fading.....
If they are the concertina type blind it does not matter. When we had the spring type blind we would leave them down during the winter with no ill effects.
Curtains open blinds down, not had a problem for over ten years. Why bother with a dehumidifier, with all the vents in a caravan all you are doing is collecting the moisture in the air passing though the van.
As with most of the above except,if your using salt in a bowel put it in the sink as if if over flows it will stain.Turn your upholstery on its side up the middle of the van.Wrap your taps with old socks and cover with an old towel as this will stop the frost getting to them.
We put a roof cover on the van to stop moist air coming in to it through the top vents. We also use dehumidifiers, front and back. One of the kitchen cupboards has a gas vent that is in the floor so we leave that cupboard open for general air circulation. Also, we visit the van every two to thee weeks and open all windows to replace the air (cushions are stood on end in the middle of the van).
