Never been on one what do you people use for water.
Looked at mains water kits for aqua roll, there is flat hose and ordinary round hoses, which one are you using, how long a hose do you need,
and other tips
I use the round hose which attaches to your water barrel then feds into the caravan. I bought one from ebay answer it works well. My hose is 7.5metres but 10 would be better for me as my water connection is at the front of the caravan. If I can I use super pitches, they suit me just fine. T

Having individual water supply and drainage is of course very convenient. Some have an Aquaroll with a ballcock type valve so water is on tap. Best simple method would be to have a long water pipe with suitable connection leading to your receptacle, and then you just turn the tap to refill. . . .
------------- Peripheral people don`t have as much excitement but they sure live longer
Don't forget for a super pitch you may also need a length of waste pipe. Length depends on where you waste water comes out the van and where the drain is on-site.
Each site can be different, so we take a few different lengths unless we have been to the site before and know the setup.
We have been on super pitches - To fill the aqua roll - we used one of those new hose pipes that expand when filled then contract when empty - It was convenient being on a super pitch but how easy do you want life to be ? Plus we had a length of waste that went to a grid.
I thought it was being a bit lazy. It is no bother to me - to wheel my aqua-roll to a water point or to wheel my waste water to a grid. Just how lazy do you want to be. It is of course different if you are in any way disabled - then super pitches can be great.
We are booked on a super pitch this summer, and have bought the food grade hose with a ballcock fitting for our aqua roll. Not got any waste piping yet, think a trip to my local friendly DIY shop will be required.

I'd be careful of DIY shop. Tend not to have correct diameters for caravan connections, plus it's a once-only purchase and caravan accessory shops or Go Outdoors do hose at reasonable prices.

I don't use a super pitch because it's the lazy option, it is convenient for me due to my personal circumstances. Sometimes I find this forum annoying, a person asks for some helpful advice which they usually get but then there are often negative comments too.

I also thought the comment about how lazy do you want to be a bit off. Who cares what the reason for using a super pitch is. I use mine on my seasonal pitch just because I can. And to answer the question we use barrel with ballcock and also have pipe for waste directly to waste water drain. When leaving van water tap mutual be turned off.
We looked at both types of connection and went for the ballcock type.
To be honest I would use a super pitch every time if we could, but some of the sites we use don't have them. It wouldn't stop me going to a site without super pitches but when available, I'll use them...and why not
