Hi,

Just recently purchased a Swift Charisma 560. Towed beutifully on the journey home. Took it to storage and thought have a play with the motor mover. No joy, so thought battery was flat. So charged the battery 24 hrs, and took it back up tonight, but nothing when re-connect battery to the van. The NE190 control panel doesn't do anything, is there something i have missed?

A few years ago I couldn't get a mover to work until I found out you had to double click the remote control to get started.

Suggest you double read all instructions before trying anything else. It may be something dead simple rather than something dead.

The control panel should show some life regardless of the mover.

I have a red key to power it on then you double press the power button on the mover to start it.

Check for a small round connector for a red key.

The mover is not the problem, i am unable to get any power from the battery. is there any switches i need to switch to get the panel to register anything?

Did the sellar not go through the van with you when you bought it? Some folk do add bits and bats to the vans, Nightmare at times.

You need to unplug it from the car.
There is usually a master switch of some kind.
Battery teminals can come apart especially with mover cable stuffed in them.

Is there a rocker switch on the panel that says car/van . if so is it set to van?

The mover should run straight from the battery through the red key and not through the caravan control panel so it may be your battery is dead

you have to press the caravan button to bring the leisure battery into circuit although this shouldn't be needed for the motor mover. Remember on site to do this so it charges the battery rather than running 12v stuff from the charger unit.

tried another battery, and there is no power from this in the van. The display panel just shows 0.1 then goes off. Would any of the fuses have blown?

There is normally a main battery fuse in the cable coming from the battery, if you can follow the cable inside the van you should find it. It might of come loose or fuse has blown.
have you plugged the van into mains power yet to see if the 12v power supply works?

Hi there.
My Nord Elettronica NE190 Control Panel has the same issue showing 0.1 while I am trying to turn it on to leisure battery. Eventually after much button pushing it turns on but I fear one day it won't. Did you ever find a solution to this problem. I have done alot of research but found hardly anything on this issue apart from your post.
Hopefully someone can help.
I have a 2009 swift sprite major 6.
