Have seen people with extension cable going through the window. Didn't fancy doing this so we had external socket fitted.

You'd need a definitive answer from a dealer, but I queried with ours the cost of an external gas bbq point - cost was £135 (+VAT) - I would imagine there would be a similar amount of work for an electric point.

Without having a external socket fitted you could buy a 3 way splitter for your mains we had ours from towsure then run a tripped camping socket to your awning this is exactly how we run our cool box.

Hi tom tickle yes it is . We plugged it in the post then run 1 lead to the caravan and plugged the camping tripped one straight in the awning .

Would you not just need a two way splitter and mains electric cable unit thingy? Or does it have to be 3 way splitter? I am thinking of doing this too.
