Hi folks
As our van is in storage under trees, I would like to get her cleaned before we start using for the season.
Can anyone recommend a mobile cleaner that covers the Congleton area.
I have seen Vision Caravan Services on another site and wonder if you have had any experiences with them.
Wish we could bring van home to clean but not possible so next option is a cleaning service.

We have our van in storage and again like you one corner of the van was under a tree. I found some Companies that clean vans and were shocked that the starting price was £140 and that was a basic wash for just the outside, would have probably been more once he started. Needless to say we bought it home last weekend and parked it outside the house on the road for the day and we washed it ourselves and did the inside and didn't cost us a bean.. went back into storage, not under a tree this time ready for our first trip away in a couple of weeks... maybe something to consider.

Can't bring it home. Last time we tried that, one of our delightful neighbours sent us and all our neighbours an anonymous letter. In it we were told that we were reducing the value of houses on the estate, no better than travelling folk and lowering the tone. We were warned to remove it or else.
I can't tell you how angry my husband and I were and to think it was one of the neighbours we have lived near for 17yrs! Our house is neat and tidy and there are 3 new cars on the drive...but we were still 'scum' (their description)
My 9 yr old son had opened the letter as it was near his birthday and was so upset, he thought we were going to be arrested! Needless to say, the van went back into storage that day.
Hence need to find a mobile service. I have had a quote for £80 which does seem reasonable just want to make sure they are reputable.

I too have nasty neighbours but I try not to let them dictate what I do.
What were they planning to do as their "or else" if you didnt move the caravan?
You could take the caravan home, spend a day giving it a good valet, then take it back to storage.
I quite enjoy giving my caravan a good clean , inside and out. You can easily spend a day on it, oven, bathroom, fridge, inside cupboards, drawers, under beds etc

I have exactly the same problem but I manage to clean my caravan at the storage. I take a telescopic ladder to reach the roof, a long extendable brush, a rectangular bucket and a pressurised water sprayer. The cleaning product I use is Fenwicks Caravan Cleaner as it removes the green algea and a paint brush to work into the awning rail and trims and any other awkward areas such as the rear lights etc.
It may not be the ideal solution but at least it's an alternative to save any confrontation with the neighbours.
Below is a typical pressurised sprayer that I use that's not fierce enough to damage any of the waterproof sealant.

We also have this problem and am unable to bring our to our house.
If take it home to clean and do not obstruct your neighbours drive or road ways I would not care . You pay rent and keep your own house in order. They are probably jealous.
But if you do need to clean it at storage site like we do . We bought a step ladder with I think 7 treads this just fits in our car . We use two large water carriers only 3/4 fill with water due to having to carry them . This is plenty . We then use a large garden spray to spray the roof and a caravan brush . It does take a while but we manage . It's fine . We also bought a small step to be high enough For me to reach through the roof from inside .
There is also a good film on YouTube showing the same method filmed by someone called trudigans I think . They also have to do all this on storage site .
Good luck our service centre also offers a cleaning service but again quite costly .

Or else WHAT?
Take it home clean it, put a sign up saying that if they don't like it tough!
Then take it back to storage, not for fear of incurring your neighbours wrath but your convenience.

Could you speak to your neighbours in advance and tell them the van will be there for 1 or 2 days while you clean it?
If they are the sort who resort to anonymous letters they will probably back down straight away if you speak to them first.

We park ours in the road to clean it, but as there are so many transit type vans parked in the road no-one complains.
------------- We camped for years. In 2019 we bought an Elddis Avante 454. We like it as it is short (6.9m) and fits in our driveway and has a fixed bed.
We had 127 nights away in the caravan in 2023.

Try contacting some local mobile car valet companies. we have our caravan cleaned at the start and end of the season while it is on its seasonal pitch by a mobile valeting company. When we rang around most were happy to quote a price for a caravan

I'm going to get a mobile caravan valet done at storage. Its just easier. When we came back from France last yr, we pulled onto the estate to unload...I could feel the curtains twitching.
My husband says just ignore but my son still talks about the letter and he's a bit scared of someone saying something to him at school. I don't want this incident to put him off caravanning because we love it!

It was often the case in the past that when an estate was being built, a restrictive covenant would be in the Title Deeds preventing new occupants from certain activities, one of which was caravan storage. This was probably to keep the site in as desirable a place to live as possible, at least until building was complete, and the builders left. The covenant could still be enforced by the builders, but of course over time the building firm perhaps went out of business,so that would become more difficult.
Perhaps this is the 'or else' your unpleasant neighbours are on about. I would ignore them as bringing your van home to wash it hardly counts as storage at home.
