Hi all just a looking for a little help, we went away for three days on a rally and we could not get the piezo igniter on our three way fridge in the van to work, the first time we tried we managed to get a spark and got the pilot light to ignite but it went out again straight away, we tried a second time but this time not even a spark, the igniter on the gas cooker worked okay, the voltage on the leisure battery when checked with a multi meter was 12.5 volts what should a fully charged battery be and would low voltage stop the igniter working ?.

Thanks in Advance......

PS The van is a 1997 Elddis Crown Sovereign

Igniter probably has it's own little battery somewhere. It will not be off the 12v system.

I Thought that could be the case but when I checked the wiring diagram for the fridge it is wired into the 12 volt system peter.

Loose wire, Fuse maybe? Josey60
Really annoying when you have a simple problem that gives you a mare to track down.

Clever man...............
Had I know how to edit it I would have. Try to explain how to, instead of being smart yet again.

When you have posted an answer there are six tabs above the box which are.... View Profile, Reply, Quote, Edit, Tell a friend and Report Post. You just click the 'Edit' tab and it allows you to rectify any mistakes or alter the details. Simples!

I know how to edit, I was wondering how using the edit made a link? it seemed a sarcastic comment to make.

Now I'm totally confused because in your first post you said... "Had I known how to edit I would have. Try to explain". I did and the response was "I know how to edit". I think your question should have been how to post a link and not how to edit. Yes?

Please explain how you use the edit button to post a link? Instead of trying to be clever be helpful for once in your life.

The edit button as far as I know is to edit your post. Nothing to do with posting a link the way you did. I used copy and paste, obviously this is not the right way.

The way to post a link is quite easy once you know how.
Where you highlight the page that you want to post is very much the same except there is one stage previous to that.
At the top right it states (Add Custom Link). Just click on that and a box opens up. Type in what you want to appear in your post such as Here, Link, etc. then click the tab 'Okay'. A second box appears and you just post the highlighted link of the page you want to post then click 'Okay' and the link will post into your current reply.

Correct, but what was meant was post 4 & 5 could have been combined. You have I think up to 2 hours to edit a post.
Hope this helps.
