Got a memory foam mattress topper but not helping, basically our backs are getting sore now in the van as the bed offers very little if any support, and tbh is really uncomfy now. Got a topper but to no avail. It's getting to the stage now we're totally fed up with it and don't want to come and stay over (it's on a seasonal pitch now so need to get our money's worth lol)

Any advise greatly appreciated Ta all

Should add we have also tried an air bed, big cumbersome and a pain to put up and didn't really work for us

How thick/ deep is the mattress topper? Could be a thicker/ deeper one is required. We also turn the seat cushions upside down to give a flatter surface. Otherwise the only alternative would be to have the cushions reupholstered, which could work out rather expensive.

I'm pretty sure the Aventura 330 has a couple of bunks and then make up beds (either 3 singles .... or 1 single and a double) ...

Looks like parallel sofas with big knee rolls.
I always turn the cushions over and then try and arrange them so that each person has a long base cushion under them. That will mean turning them through 90 degrees so they run across the van. Put the back rests at the head or foot.

Having the cushions so there is a series of joins running the length of the van is really uncomfortable.

Our masters topper is 3 to 4 inches thick tried the thin ones useless, so changed to thick one and its bliss.

Mattress toppers are a waste of money as they will not hide the bumps underneath. We went to "customsizebeds" and bought a Cooolmax mattress from them. Now we have a decent night's sleep. Not cheap but worth every penny!

I'm sure there must be many people who find their caravan beds nice and comfy - I know we do. (Fixed single beds.) In fact we always seem to sleep better in the caravan than at home!

Ah ... I think the OP's van doesn't have a fixed bed ... so the problem was getting comfort from the usual collection of seating and back rests.

We bought 2 duvaleys, we had already got single mattress toppers (not the tempur kind). Now we put the mattress toppers under the duvaley and have the most comfy nights sleep, I wasn’t sure about spending the money on duvaley, but so glad we did, I consider them well worth the money. Makes bed making easy.

You could buy some deep foam block cut to the sizes of your existing upholstry and cover it yourselves. It would certainly work out cheaper than a full rehupolstry job, and you could get rid of the offending knee roll shaping at the same time if you so wished, leaving you with a flat smooth surface to sleep on.

Maybe make some big oversized pillowcase type covers for each piece, which fleece type fabric is ideal for, not too expensive, lots of shades to choose from, and warm and soft to the touch, also removable for machine washing should you suffer any spillages.

Online suppliers such as E-Foam are often more reasonably priced and will cut any shape to order. A medium to firm grade should be ok depending on your preference, but dont be tempted to buy the foam crumb block, its rock hard and very heavy due to the amount of bonding adhesive used in its manufacture.
