Yes all been informed nobody would insure it but 3 big locks on it..
But any insurance would have been invalid as it took the caravan park a wk to report the theft...

Think it’s safe to assume who is behind this theft, and I really fear that this van will never be recovered. I really hate to post this and my heart truly goes out to you, it there is a reason hobbys are in the main uninsurable. Because of the vile scum who target them for their next home.
I hope I am totally wrong and you get this back undamaged and all your things intact. The caravan park need to take the brunt of the blame though, if the park was to be left unmanned they should have informed you in advance to allow you to take the van offsite. I’d claim against their insurance tbh

Yes the caravan was left where its sited and the owner brings all the caravans into that field there's no lighting or cameras there just a field.. Not Good.
It's Gower Farm Llanddewi Swansea
The maintenance guy lives in a lodge but decided not to be there as the owner has swanned off to Thailand 😕

that was exactly the reason why the owners went on holidays surely? because there was someone overseeing the place, so surely because of him leaving it unattended that makes them liable, I would be taking this to court if I was you, they haven't done the job you required of safe storage

So the owner disappears, the maintenance guy disappears and your caravan disappears and is not reported missing for a week, are you not the least bit suspicious? I certainly would be, far too coincidental for my liking 😡😡😡

Also forgot to mention the owner desperately wanted us to move pitch so an old customer of 25yrs wanted our pitch suspicious or what 🤔

The Caravan Club and some other insurance companies probably would have insured it. Sadly it is highly unlikely that it will be recovered. Pity it was not fitted with an alarm and tracker.
