Bought a caravan couple of months ago from a chap on ebay. Caravan was in storage at pe67sa and he was claiming it's a private sale etc. No warranty no returns. Caravan of course not as described with damp. No refund or return.

Issue with eBay is that while you can get through to a real person on the phone that person is on the other side of the world so won’t know anything about caravan sales in the UK. My view is that you should treat eBay just like an advert in your local shop. You check the goods first & if you are not happy then don’t pay any money & walk away.

You and I seem to be on the same wavelength Billy. I bought one caravan off ebay for £500, but not before I had thoroughly examined it. We had it for 4 years, had some good holidays with it, and sold it on ebay for more than I bought it for. Bought the one we have now from a dealer as a "trade sale". Cost us £1,100. We have now had that one nearly 4 years and plan on using it again next year. I don't think it owes us anything.
