Hi all
We are away at the moment, first night arrived and there is no power to the electric flush on the Thetford toilet ?
In my last van the fuse was clearly seen at the back of the toilet compartment.
However my current van 2019 Swift Elegance 645, (the bar code label inside the compartment shows it is a Thetford C262 toilet. There is no visible fuse? Where the fuse was is just a small flap with two screws holding down?
I want to check the fuse before removing the pump
and checking the impeller.
Does anyone know where the toilet fuse is now?
Thanks
Are you sure there's no power? On our Bailey, over the winter the pump has seized up twice now, I've taken it out & managed to free it up both times. When seized I put the washroom light on & when I pressed the flush button the light fractionally dimmed sufficiently to realise that it was drawing current but not operating.
Hi Bobolink
I put the light on and pressed the button , it didn’t dim any lights or make any sound absolutely nothing .
We are on an overnight stop at Kingsbury (Near Sutton Coldfield ) on way to Yorkshire tomorrow for a week . I will take the pump out when I get there to see if the impeller is stuck .
However , was hoping to check the fuse first , but cannot find it..
The fuse in the PSU is fine ,it’s the Thetford C262 unit ?
I think you’ll find it on the back of the board which is under the button on the top. Prize the sticker off and it should be on the circuit board underneath.
Hi Dave, from what I can see online to locate the fuse, working from outside the van remove the cassette, looking inside the compartment there should be some wires two of which are red, these are attached to the blade fuse holder, also look for corrosion on the connections.
Yes G#Winger, we have been doing the same since arriving on site in Yorkshire yesterday . Squirty bottle and Thetford Pink Spray.
Going to have a good search for the fuse and take the pump out today to check not stuck and try to get it working .

i dont bother with that pink rubbish, either
We used to use that Thetford pink in our flush tank and then discovered how the flush pump was clogged with black yuck. Since then we have used clothes freshener in the top tank. Much better smell and no yuck to clog the pump.
