We also live in wigan and a couple of places i have seen caravan storage are a place that used to be Gathurst camp site but is now closed as a camp site but there are quite a few caravans up there, worth checking out also on preston rd Standish opposite Standish recovery / corner of bradley lane ,well opposite the recovery behind the terraced houses there are lots of caravans there. worth checking out . Sorry no numbers but worth a ride round.

Let us no how you get on, we will be buying a caravan this winter hope it will go down the side of the house but not sure, so we might be looking for storage.

                      I live in Swinton and also had nowhere to store my van but rather than go local I came across a place at Westby near Blackpool called GL Taylor (01772 684 784).

The Good points :

It has a CaSSOA award which can help reduce your insurance.

It is fully secure with a key fob for entry.

It has maintenace bays where you can do your own repairs or they have chap who will do repairs for you.

They will clean your van for you (£10 single axle £20 double).

You can come and go at whatever time day or night.

There are 4 or 5 sites within easy reach.

£240 for the year.

                       If you have not already found somewhere I suggest you try GL Taylor (01772 684 784 ) at Westby Hall near Blackpool.

I live in Swinton and had the same problem but I have found Taylors to be more than OK.

The good points are:

They are CaSSOA registered which means they are recognised has being secure by insurance companies.

You can book your van onto a maintenance bay for you to do any repairs or they have a chap who will do repairs for you.

You can book you van out or take it back any time day or night.

They will wash your van for you (£10 fro songle axle / £15 for double).

You are in easy reach of 4 or 5 sites.

Fully secure with a key fob for entry.

£240 for the year.
