i was just using co2 as an example of an easily obtainable gas that would have the desired effects

as i have said a few times on this thread there are many gasses that could render you usless they dont have to be able to put you to sleep just keep you asleep and just a lack of oxygen itself would do this therefore the van wouldnt need to be full of gas

the air we breath is only 21% oxygen anyway please read this second paragraph it only takes a few breaths of oxygen free air to render you unconcious http://www.airproducts.com/nr/rdonlyres/35b1bc31-7c0e-455b-a723-8255ff28ddba/0/safetygram17.pdf

the table on page two shows that only a few % drop in oxy levels can be very bad news wouldnt be hard to do this would it for only a few breaths

anyway yes still working like a loon even worse this week because i have lost a disc with a design on for a customer so having to do it all from my harddrive in my head lol just glad i had ordered everything before i lost disc or i would realy be in trouble im calling it a day after tomorrow anyway job shoul be finnished and not starting another till mid jan having some time with the kids

Cammie I don't doubt there are any number of gasses out there but not one report has named the gas that has been used and not one person has been found dead and I can't believe these people get it right every time they gas somebody!  However, end of 'cos it is Christmas and I can't be bovvered any more!

Glad you have been keeping busy at work, enjoy your break with the kids.  We are having caravan withdrawal symptoms so roll on March!

Happy Christmas

Ali xx

Ali, I explained this thread to my mate, all he would say was ' I wouldn't bother buying a gas detector ', I shall be with him for more than a few beers + watch a rugby match + curry tomorrow, I will probe further, and hopefully may even remember the answers!

Thanks Puppy Patrol, I know what I believe and suffice to say I shan't be buying one either!!  OH and I were discussing it earlier and the other thing we thought about was what happens when you have a couple inside who are different sizes, like we are?  Therefore, it would take a lot of gas to knock me out and not so much for OH so by the time they had gassed me he'd be dead for sure!!

Hey ho, await your reply with interest.  Ciao for now.

Ali

The other weekend I got back to the caravan after a long night at the pub knocking back the bitter. I finished my takeaway vindaloo then fell asleep. Anyway when i woke up the following afternoon i was really groggy and there was an acrid gassy smell in the air. I noticed that my wallet was empty and there had been about £100 in there before I went out the previous evening. Do you think I was robbed in a gas attack?

Sure it weren't your wind. And overspending in the pub.

Absolutely certain. There's no way I'd spend £100 on beer and indian takeaway then break wind in my sleep!!!!!  How dare you
