No-o-o-o-o-o-o! I'm afraid I've confuddled ya mate. It's not the A frame itself just the weatherproof cover that we put over the whole of it when not in use, (50 weeks a bl**dy year), to protect the 12v connections and bits. It also protects the fibre glass stuff, (or whatever the things made of), from cracking under the constant, (I wish!), ultra violet light

But the last one I bought from the caravan shop still doesn't really fit properly when the brake is in the upright position which is has to be when it's pitched.

So....looks like it'll be me, the sewing machine, the eyelets, some cord and.........a tape measure

I do hope ya manage to find what you need at a caravan breakers. Or maybe just post a thread on here coz sometimes peeps are sending their old tin tents to the that campsite in the sky and there might be one to fit yours? Worth a shot eh?

I read those too and no doubt they work, but you can get almost any item under the sun designed for caravanning, why not coat hangers?

If you want to pay-through -the -nose for caravan specific coat hangers it's your choice. Most of us prefer to buy the ones which are available anywhere for next to nothing, spend a few pence adapting them and use our money for van necessities instead.

I came across the hangers for my van by chance. If you have got a local pound store try there or like me take a  trip to the East coast and get nine plastic lightweight hangers for .........   you guessed it £1.  The  pound shops I used were over the road from Eastgate market. They are fab because they bend so if you have a small wardrobe the clothes dont catch on the door and at the top the plastic hook springs together over the rail. AND they are pretty colours.  Guess who has had to get hundreds for all our camping buddies. My husband said I so easily pleased, (thats before I asked for a new van ha ha )

Hope this helps  x X

lol, thanks for that PB, but we've since converted the wardrobe into microwave unit, with shelves for videos and stuff and bought a fabric wardrobe for a tenner from Focus for the awning!

Thanks again.

Blue tac..... when you buy a new blue tac cut it in to strips and wrap round the rail , no more coat hangers on the floor. and it works. 2 packets is enough to cover a rail.

Last year when we went to Ireland the whole rail fell out! I have some space saving hangers, 3 clip onto a long thingy, waste of space!

You could design your own and go here to get a company to make them...they do custom ones!!

They even sell the hotel ones

Why worry, just fold your clothes up neatly and hang them when you get there!  By the way, if you wardrobe is absolutely stuffed with wire coathangers, you'd be suprised the weight of the hangers!!

Happy hanging
