I agree with Caz - there are few with hedges - in fact its only Haven at Cleethorpes where I have seen 'some'. All club sites should have them - they look prettier, are good for wildlife and provide privacy. Perhaps someone high up can mention it on the AGM's?

E-Mail: info at cristall.de
www.cristall.de
And to make life easyer, the link, but only in German, Cristall
I have sent a mail to them asking if they would consider making a website in English, and they said they would!.................
If you are looking for a good van, but don't want to give out a wedge, and don't like Hobby, then look at Delta. The price starts at Euro 7990. Good value! Anyway Delta are in the same group.
I used to email strodell at cristall.de - its angela and she speaks fluent english.
There is a .co.uk site but its just a brochure scan really. And yes, their prices make you feel like popping over to germany and towing one back!! I have thought of this for my next van to be honest. Well worth the trip - and good fun too!
I bought a few bits from them - I got the full, colour coded and cut to the van shape loose carpet set for £120, and they sent it in 2 days!!! And I didnt have to pay up front... the only thing is they dont take visa from UK, so you just send Euros in recorded delivery - royal mail do a very good service called AirSure i think, which has a tracking number so you know when it delivered. About £6 if I remember.
Other parts ive got are the door catch witch broke, the water filler cap which I didnt lock and it fell off in transit somewhere near scarboro i reckon and the glass hob heat shield thing. I paid pennies for these parts and they even matched the lock with my key. Just emailed the number. Again delivery was super fast - puts some dealers here to shame.
Moorland leisure arent interested, ive ranted before so i wont again. But with the german service who cares?

Don't those prices make you feel ripped off.
Brian
What prices Brian?
Which site have you looked at?
www. delta caravans only seems to get me onto a site dealing with statics and the other site, in German, only seems to be for Cristall.
Must be going through one of vague periods.
Cheers,
Jim.

THe part of the site marked daten und preiss.
Thanks Brian. A very impressive range of vans, but does VAT have to be added to those prices? That would be + 18%.
The current range of exchange doesn't exactly run in our favour at the moment, so that could also be an influencing factor. I fancy a German van , but need to watch the pennies also.
Cheers,
Jim.
All the prices in the web site are including German VAT (Preis incl. MwSt), so you would not be required to pay the UK VAT as well. German VAT at the moment stands at 19%, so it might be worth checking to see if you could purchase the van without the vat, and pay in the UK. There would be of course no import duty.

Thanks very much indeed Mike.
The automatically translated version of that site makes interesting reading. An imported van could be back on the cards. It would be an excuse to have a holiday in Germany as well.
Thanks again.
Cheers,
Jim.
