Hubby has done so well and fitted the new shower tray, it took 3 hours as all the unit comes out, (bit different than the ALL DAY JOB that Discover where going to charge). Anyway, he has found out why the tray had craked around the plug.  Under the tray where the waste pipe is fitted the fitters have cut out a hole about 8" circ. for the waste pipe of about 2.5".... so we have taken pictures and are going to contact Explorer Group for an explanation.  Its no bloody wonder the shower tray had cracked in that area as there was no under support at all.

Wish us luck with our complaint.

Try this stuff.

It is best to dremmel out the back into a V shape, but works well without it.

Works on shower trays, sinks, front, backs and A-frame covers.
