Or caravans like ours (see gallery) that can be towed with a small family car, is economical to run and gives us all the comforts of a caravan without the headaches of having to be followed by a road tanker everytime we go on a trip.
We also have had 2 motorhomes 1 American and 1 English, before deciding to change to a Caravan and we wouldnt go back, also our son likes the caravan better and even my parents have now bought one ! .
------------- wishing everyone,,,,what you would wish for yourselves x

Surprisingly I doubt that the fuel consumption on your outfit will be much better than what I get from My Mondeo TDCi towing a 1450kg caravan. I get 35mpg ( sometimes more ) towing and about 52 mpg on reasonable length ( 20 miles or so ) trips, about town I get 45mpg.
Well really good news after reading this link someone has bought it from me they are coming on friday to collect and stay the night so i can show them how everything works so thanks for reply and advice guys.
We had the same problem trying to sell a Fleetwood Colchester 2002 4 Berth
went round all the local dealers ect and were told the were all over stocked they did tell us the bottom trade price for this so we ended selling it last month for abount £300.00 pounds obove that
The trouble isnt the price, its the fact that most people that want to either upgrade or start caravanning have already done so and therefore the demand for vans in June is lower.
Add that to the struggling economy and there's two valid reasons.
