Good luck John, Volvos are supposed to be ultra reliable!

OH would love a XC90- dream on luv, although we have looked at a couple of V70's

They are supposed to be so comfortable on long journeys! Good luck

remember the next hike in road tax applies retrospectivly to cars from 2001 0nwards,

so it may pay to go for one before that reg date.

If you get the T5 you will probably end up on first name terms with your petrol pump attendant. Should have fun getting there though.

I thought you had bought a ST24 Mondeo? or am I getting confused.

We are not sure where in Norfolk yet, we went years ago in a tent when we were 17 in my little Renualt 5, 4 people, 2 tents and lots of stuff. which was great fun, thinking perhaps somewhere towards the broads or maybe Cromer.

Can you recommend anywhere?

Hope you find one. I think you will be pleased with it, especially those seats. If you have a choice get one with a winter pack. The heated seats are fantastic on those cold mornings.

Hi Jon,

We like the quiter ones that have to allow dogs as we have 3 of them, we are memebrs of both the big clubs although CC would frown upon turning up with a tent lol.

Has to have electric hookup (conditions of tent camping according to the boss!)  and parent and child facilities as we have a 6 month old baby and without the van we obviously loose our shower where we usually clean him down, Last time we went we stayed at Burgh Castle near great Yarmouth, wouldn't exactly rush back there though

Ideally walking distance to the pub so OH car have a drink as she does all the driving and its nice for her to go out and have a drink and nice walks off

So not much of a wish list then lol

Hey,

We didn't stay at Breydon waters, but at Burgh Castle something Leisure, i think its shut down now for campers, we used to have to go to Asda to use the loo's as the site ones we're horrid,

We still had a good week though, what a laugh my old banger used to break down a lot and we often had to push it, Good old renaults eh?

Have just looked at the Lakeside caravan park and forwarded it to home for better half to see, will let you know if we choose that one we can perhaps get together for a drink!
