Hi Guys and Gals, isn"t it time that Ebay was made to put it"s house in order, This site should be policed more efficiently. Only last week I noticed a caravan vin plate for sale £7.50 It could only be someone with criminal intent that would buy one.
Everything has a value even during a credit crunch, I its too cheap to be true, leave it . Happy camping for 2009
when we looking for our bessacarr, we had exctly the same thing emailed the seller out of curiosty to try and find if it was genuine, had exactly the same email back, steer well clear!!

The number of times eBay hits the news on forums like this, I wonder just why people bother to even browse its website. The conmen will always be successful whilst someone is eager to grab something which appears to be an obvious bargain. People need to get the message that there is no such thing as a free lunch.
I only tried eBay once; to sell an awning after moving to a larger van. Would-be buyers were offering ridiculously low prices for it. I eventually dropped out and had the awning converted as a combi, to fit the larger van. It is a very good Trio awning, and we have since used it several times, so we ended up better off for the messing about we suffered on eBay. Never again, to buy or sell.
just looked for it and ebay have removed it In my experience if it seems in anyway odd dont bid

I really cant see why people are blaming ebay, its just a place where secondhand goods are advertised, no different from a newspaper, magazine or any other internet site.
Anybody who is stupid enough to send money for a caravan they havent seen is stupid enough send an 'admin fee' to the sender of a letter telling them they have won the Nigerian lotto or pay several £1000s for a car advertised in their local paper without doing an HPI check.
No publication or internet site can check every advertisment they carry is genuine.

Treat an ebay listing like an ad in the newspaper or magazine. if the seller wont let you go & veiw the caravan at their home adress then its a scam.
Agree 100% ,its as easy as that..............
