We're happy to go with the 85% rule, we're not thinking of getting anything huge or heavy. 

I understand what you mean about the 4wd v's the 0-60 doit, but tbh we got our car mainly because of it's size, not the engine and how fast it goes and tbh it don't go that fast it's a heavy old beast.   We're campers so needed a good car with space and some power to carry all our gear, which is a awful lot, which it gave us.   We can't afford a new car right now, but we have got money together for a tidy caravan.  Hubby has pulled trailers etc, but never a caravan, hence his experienced mate is going to take him out with it a few times before we go anywhere!!!

Thanks for all your posts their very much appriciated, thanks to you guys we've found a secure registered storage site locally which we didn't know about, insurance companies and had loads of tips.

So for now we continue our hunt for a caravan within our limits for price, weight, length and what we want (5 berth), :)
