Have you tried the lead to connect to the handset direct if it has one

My friend had  Reich and the switch activated when you plug in the cable stuck in the off position

Inserting/removing the lead freed it off again

So we really need to get the battery off and take it to a battery supplier to fully test it with both that big resistor thingy and the SG in every cell.

It's not THAT unusual for new batteries to collapse inside very early on in their lives.

We are actually on the third battery, the first battery apparantly wouldn't have enough power (90 one?) then I bought Numax 110 high power jobby from our local accessory shop, which was charged a number of times fully with a proper leisure charger and drained and re-charged so rang rhyno again and they said it must be a duff battery so in my infinite wisdom took it back and bought one off rhyno, who fitted having told me they had conditioned it now for proper use  and the mover worked for about 5 mins after, (while the fitter was there) and then next time we used it, knackered again

Fairly certain its not the battery, we tried the lead thing through the window and that didn't work although I would have not expected that to make a difference and would have been equally annoyed if every time I used it having to use the lead through the window.

Like has been said if I get no joy after the enineer has been they can take it off and give me a refund.

Another vote for the remote battery.

Then had to turn the power to the control panel on and off a couple times and then it re synchronised itself and worked properly.

Yep, done the remote battery thing, and the re-setting of the key, Although may be worth one last shot.

5 of us tried to push a van onto a pitch in Spain using muscle and the remote for the mover

It was only after the handbrake was released that it moved easily

If only that was the problem here

Even I am not that daft! Stupid,  yes but not that silly

Although OH has tried to drive off loads of times until she screams out the window "HANDBRAKE" As I am wondering why she hasn't moved anywhere!

I had a problem with ours cutting out, going up and down our drive. I had only had it fitted a couple of months and checked the connections, had a new leisure battery, re programmed the remote control, all to no avail.

When I did sort it, it was the handset battery!!!!!!!!! The last thing I thought to check.

Of course my missus just laughed it off, after pushing the caravan up the drive.

HI Paul, I have a reich mover if the batteries in the handset(2xaa) are low the damn thing works erraticly or not at all handset eats batteries

total pain i have ended up carrying boxes of 12 ever ready aa batteries.
