I have a little laminated notice next to the door. One side of the notice has basic notes to remind us in what order to do things like leccy/water/gas. Then we turn the card over, and it has reminders of what to do when you're leaving the caravan for the day - turn off the pump and the water heater, shut the sunroof, that sort of thing.
All a bit daft, I know, but ever since the day we returned to the van to find the sunroof wide open and a thunderstorm lashing down, I decided we obviously needed some help!

go on Mzzy tell us about the toilet incident. Was it using the loo without the cassette in? lol
Lol, Well hubby was in charge of loo, and only allowed to do wees in it (which was fine by me, and a good job too!) but we didn't realise that we had to open the thingy,to let it go through in to the cassette, so the loo was full to the brim, then he went outside and pull out the cassette, and I opened the thingy to let the wee out. Lol He was not happy, took him ages to clean out with no hose or anything, lol

when I think back we were useless! we couldn't get it unhitched when we brought it home (when we first brought it) god knows what we were doin, we were there hrs, and OH was losing his temper and couldn't hitch it to car on our first trip away we had got up early to set off on a Sunday, and just couldn't do it, had to get our caravanner neighbour out of bed to show us, he was not impressed!
Remembering back the 3 short years since we started and a few things we did were a bit silly!!!
We were trying to level in Devon and the OH was reading the spirit level while I was winding. A guy came over to us and offered help, recommending that you level by eye before getting the spirit level out as the comments from the Mrs towas saying to raise the side the bubble was at!!!
We lost about half an aquaroll of water as we did not close the hot water drain before turning on the pump.
When we first got a full awning we wondered why it pulled funny and we had the two long side panels were in the wrong place.
