If we were to hang 3 wet winter coats from out Porchlite there would be rather an untidy heap of coats and awning on the floor in the morning me thinks.

Hope this link works.  We have 2 of these, supposedly 1 for the coats and 1 for the towels but we could do really do with a couple more.  I think they are great for storing coats out of the way in the awning but we never go away in the winter lol

We have the same as ashwellgirl.  They are great for all sorts of things - coats, hats, dog leads, towels, in fact anything you don't want to hang in the van.

They are, but there's nowhere to hang them in a lightweight awning.

I used to have butchers hooks all over the place in the Combi Camp awning, to keep everything off the ground - but there's no strong horizontal poles in a lightweight awning to hang them from.

I thought I had explaine in my 1st post.

Spotted a small rotary clothes line at the weekend at Davan Caravans that may fit the bill as it can be pegged down and will not take up much room in a small lightweight porch awning.

We use a old broom pole hammered into the ground. Coathooks have been taped to the top of the pole with pvc tape. We had all the bits and made it up about 3 years ago as a tempory job. We are still using it and it was free

Back of the chair for us, too, although an ordinary S-hook round a pole works OK - as long as the awning's not tight against the pole as it will rub on the hook and cause a weakness.
