agree totally with the compromise we got a 550-6 compromised as price was too good so i said now 6 months later we have a sprite qutro es  side bunks end bath room as we wanted at first and guess what a ggod deal after shopping aound price matched it and got a few extras thrown in so in my opinion dontr compromise (if you canb afford it ) it will only cause you problems with oh nagging later lol!!!

We have a Pageant S7 Bretagne, granted it only has a small washroom, but it has a closable rear bedroom with three fixed bunks and a convertable side dinette.

This means that you can have your own space after the little ones have gone to bed.

If you like the sound of that layout, but must have a separate shower then there is the Lunar Quazar 546 which has a separate shower cubicle, but a smaller lounge.

Both these vans are single axle and under 1500kg mptlm so increase your choice of towing vehicles.  Your budget should even stretch to a new or ex demo van so you could even be the first owner and have the benefit of the whole warranty.

thanks again for the advice, my heart has always been with the bailey senator carolina end washroom, my ideal van ,to me they ooze class, but did like the ranger 620/6 and found one  locally, totally not the layout we wanted but myself and my wife both like it and did the deal, got the cash and was going to do the deal today but still i wasn't 100% on the van maybe 80% if you know what i mean, but still it ticked most of the boxes, anyway my father in law said to hpi it so i rang the seller to ask him if it was all bought and paid for to which he replied that he still had a "little" finance on it,bear in mind that it is only 7 mths old alarm bells started ringing, how little can the finance be with a 7 mth old van.!

anyway i rang the sellers wife and she said she would ring the finance company to see what could be done, she replied within ten minutes saying that they owed a lot more than the 11k that they were selling it for... deal off

half hour later i looked at vans on ebay, what do i see a bailey senator carolina 30 miles from home, quick call to view, 2 hrs later we are there and it is a beauty, absolutely immaculate, mint, every extra you could ever want all as new, the owners bought it on a whim but run 2 businesses and just couldn't use it....shown receipts for the bill of sale, paid in full.....deal done (had the cash on me for the ranger)....now today sat on my driveway is my dream van the one i wanted in the first place..

like the last couple of posts said try to always to go with your first instinct...i am one happy easter bunny...!
