hubby is very broad, thats where the appeal comes in for us!  he would have some difficulty moving around a normal van comfortably with myself and our children in it too.

For starters we have a width limit here so it would be too wide unless you have a large vehicle as Jennifern has pointed out.  I guess the UK is just not geared up to massive vehicles on our roads, unlike the continent or over the pond where excellent motorways exist in many places.

Very roomy though.

Not all Hobbys are 8' wide there are some that are only 7'6" wide and that is legal for over here, just like the european spec 5th wheelers which are also 7'6" wide, therefore they can be towed by our cars/pickups
