We have about 70 Nights a year in the van, we start in march with a short Sunday to Friday not far away, and then have 5 weeks at home folled by two weeks away right through until Oct/Nov when we go away to find a quiet place away from the fireworks ( our dog does not like fireworks ).

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
we would love to be away every weekend & longer! but always go out for every bank holiday, 2-3 weeks in summer hols, & odd weekends when weather looks good. Have even stayed local & travelled to work during day back to van to chill out in evening, unfortunatley wont be doing that this year as have a dog now & cant leave him alone in van all day would have no van left! lol
I have budgeted for 75 nighs this year, already done 23 nights since January.

We try for once month, we go all year round and love all the seasons. We have a site and beach 2 mile away(Seacote at St Bees on coast to coast walk) and sometimes go there and travel to work just for a break!! You could be miles away.
------------- Jan:Braids Gretna, Feb Stanwix Park Silloth & Braids Gretna,
We try a least 1 trip a month, possibly two. I work every other Saturday morning and most Bank Holidays, which I dont mind, as its too crowded those weekends, so that limits us a bit. Usually get away for two weeks in the summer, though this year its only one. Our work holidays dont tally this year unfortunately.
we use ours at least 7 times a year. All the bank hols for 3 nights at a time,a week at xmas, week at easter,2 weeks in the summer, and october half term.i dont think you can overuse a caravan and we sure as hell wouldnt get the cheap breaks that we do now anywhere else!!
