Sounds completely normal to me! In fact i would go so far as to say that it's NOT normal to want to stay in it straightaway. I will definetly be sleeping in my new caravan once its been "born" and bought home. Don't know who else will be sleeping with me and i don't care cos i am sleeping in it the 1st night, well i have to make up the bed just to see what sheet will fit so might as well see how comfortable the bed is lol. Depending on it's delivery date we will have a 2 - 3 week wait before we go away in it for 2 weeks.
lol good for you, we have yet to manage a sleepout in ours, but have spent an evening chilling in there, and 2 afternnons last week i had friends over for tea in it lol.
just need to get it levelled a bit better so i can try out all the gas appliances, and am still working on a sleepover before we go away in it at sping bank hols.
enjoy it

We were exactly the same, I used to love having the van at the house, unfortunatley when we moved it had to go into storage. I really miss having it here!
Good Luck with the Loire, we've got the Series 6 one, a great van, we've been very pleased with it, it's just coming up to it's first birthday!
I thought it was just us too! We've sat on the drive loads of times in ours watching a DVD or watching the world go by. Yes the neighbours think we're barking but I don't care.
I connect an hose pipe to the water inlet and the waste pipe to the grid and `HEY PRESTO ` my own service pitch. Close the curtains and you could be anywere.
