Not sure about getting to them by train,also there are some great town/villages to visit like Christchurch, Bournemouth (good beaches) and anywhere in The New Forest really.

The campsite we were at was just a farmers field in Fordingbridge (no EHU or toilets etc) which is booked through a rally. There is a adjacent lake for fishing or boating on, next door to the site is a sports field, skate park, play park and then a bridge to Fordingbridge village.

Hi Bill

They have a new Ikea at Southampton now too although still not been there as its way to hectic for parking. Moor Valley is a very nice day out and very cheap, you only pay for the parking and what you want to go on. They have Go Ape there now to which is brill if not expensive. Got a couple of nice lakes, miniture railway, cycle hire, walks etc

Adam - you lucky soul - We LOVE Monkey World - really lovely place.  There's a C&CC club site at Moreton - right by a lovely pub (fab food & real ales) & also right near the railway station for Poole, Weymouth, Bournemouth etc but rail stops at a reasonable hour, so won't keep you awake all night - we stayed in the pub when we went & we didn't notice the railway at all.  Not too far from MW either - about 20 mins by car, so nice inbetween spot for MW & the coast.

Enjoy MW, say hi to Sally in the nursery group & Charlie in the bachelor group - oh, & Gordon the orang - from us!!!

Not been to Monkey World for a while now, we do enjoy Moors Valley a lot though probably because its outdoors much like camping and caravanning.

Yeah I know what you mean, gives you a real feel good factor. Perhaps the song should be re-released and then use the video to promote Camping & Caravanning as a good source of enjoyment rather than a pain in the bum, Mr Clarkson!

In july we are away again for the weekend and we intend to do a send up of the Sister Act song "Oh Happy Days". A few of us are looking at getting some nun outfits, should be a laugh.

Not watched the video yet but we live in Gosport too!

The only video we've got is attaching the 'action cam' to the kids bikes or scooter and have them flying down the hill in the campsite!
