We appear to be filling you with dread I'm sure, but it might sail through your approval, lets hope so and I think the dealers are pretty good in that they won't hesitate to put right any wrongs.

They should check the water and gas in the pdi.

In truth the vans shouldn't leave the factory like they do but then thats how it is with most things now isn't it?

The only problem with mine when i picked it up was with the aerial socket in the living area. After investigation by myself i found it was not connected vehind the socket (Easy to fix!).

We think it is a great caravan with a great layout and we are really pleased with it.

Simon

Whoops. Forgot to say as Niall has said the bedguard is a bit poor and rough around the inside edges.

Hi there, you don't say what you are towing with but have you made sure all your weights are ok and that your towball is the correct one etc?

Have fun, very envious the GT60s look lovely.

Ali

I daresay if you posted a similar message about swift, lunar, or any other make you would get a similar set of responses. Take no notice. For what its worth we took delivery of a new bailey last week of may and have now had 2 outings in it and thoroughly tested everything. It all works fine. I even checked the 2 pipes in the toilet compartment which have been reported too tight and leaky in the past but this must be something Bailey have changed because there is now sufficient play on them as not to be a problem and they don't leak on mine.

If I was really nit picking there was a slight mark on the facia of one of the cupboards and when I mentioned it to the dealer he made no bones about ordering up a replacement.

Enjoy your new van I hope you have many happy trips in it

Dave

Hi

We picked up our GT60 540/6 in January this year it been a cracking van and we have been away in it at least twice a month since collecting it and we have no problems at all.(touch wood)...taking it to France later this month so I hope it continues to serve us well, when we picked our up the dealer spent at least an hour with us talking us through everything and was only too happy to take time to answer our questions...good luck hope you enjoy your new van

Hi Mr Me

We got ours in February, what a long wait from when we ordered it in October !!

Great van, the kids love it, as do we.  The only niggle that we've had so far is that our shower curtain is too short, and the water came out under the door, not happy to say the least.  we'll get a longer curtain, job done.  Were off to France in august, and I can't wait, just have to get in some more weekends away before then !!

Seriously, hope u love the caravan as much as we do.  Our second Bailey, and we're very happy

I too have just ordered a GT60 540/6 for collection at the end of this month, Prime reason I chose the dealer Bardsea Leisure in Ulverston was that as this is my first caravan purchase and I was a little nervous but they have a site connected to the dealership and you stay over for 2 days free before completing the deal, plenty of time to wander around with notepad, pencil and work out how everything works .

I am surprised you didn't get a number plate they should throw that in free though you do have to show your documents to prove ownership of vehicle.

Sorry about all the questions ?

Do you mean 'pneumatic'? If so, yes it needs pumping up. But check the max pressure because it's easy to burst the tube if you go over the top.

All the best with your new van.
