The 2010 model of the 546 has been modified to give it longer front seats. (apparently). Can't remember where I read this though, but I would look into this before buying an 09 model.

I checked this out - looking at the pictures on the Lunar website, the 2010 kitchen area has only 1 cupboard door & drawer section between the cooker and the fridge - our 2009 model has 2. The front bunks are also listed as 6'1" singles. Don't know what they've done to the washroom side of the van - I can only assume that they've lost the little (pointless) cupboard alongside the heater and made the wardrobe narrower. Hopefully they've not touched the washroom area itself.

It shows that Lunar are actually listening to the reviews, as the one critisism levied at the 546 when it was launched last year was the short front dinette. It surely must knock the Swift Group and Bailey offerings into a cocked-hat now.

I'm not sure about the 2010 brown curtains though - I think our red ones are better!

I have been and looked at one of these today and fell in love with it!!!

I havent seen a 2009 model, but I can tell you the 2010 has the big 6ft seats at the front!   Im going to wait a few months and we are definitely going to have one, , but after looking at loads of caravans, this is definitely the best triple bunk, single axle, one we have seen.    The separate shower and lack of 'door' at the back which leaves the back open has swung it for us.   (It doesnt have a separating door but has a concertina thing).

I have just bought a 2010 model of the 546, took delivery mid december. The front seats are larger than the 2009. A small cupboard to the side of the wardrobe and heater had been removed to make the space.
The were a number of things we like about the 'van. Large storage area (this can accessed from the outside)with the option of turning this into the 3rd bunk. (Downside is the the lower bunks face an outside locker door)

The bathroom also swung it for us.
I looked at others (Coachman Amara And Swift) with fixed bungs. Often these were two bunks and had little space should you need privacy for changing (should friends come along with us).
The bathrooms were more wetrooms, some with odd pull down sinks.

It towed well on the motorway with my C-Crosser.

I have not been out in it, but cannot wait.

Hi Andrew, just spotted this. Congrats on your new van - I'm sure you will have some fantastic holidays in it!  Ironically for us its the changes for 2010 which have put us off this van - we were in the minority and happy with the shorter seats in the front & larger kitchen area.  We have decided to go for the Coachman Amara 570/6 but my hubby has said we can't order it until NEC in October - try as I might I can't get him to take me next month instead - I know it will be well worth the wait though!
