Thanks for your comments but I still notice that most of you caravanners seem to come from warmer England apart from Lindjemp, Blairgowrie in February thats brave. Lindjemp, where in Pitlochry were you at Halloween, we love pitlochry, we go to Faskally a lot.
My next question is when you go camping during the winter what do you do to pass the time, you can't sit in the awning or outside soaking up the sun (what sun we say in Scotland), you can't spend all your time in the caravan, there isn't much to do indoors in Scotland, so what do you do (no rude comments please). You can go walking, cycling, what else?
Went to a chalet over Christmas last year (Pitlochry) and was bored stupid, did the walking, eating and drinking (the last part was fun)- Yes I'm a Jock.
We do all sorts of things, We generally go our during the day, walking, have a look fround some towns/places of interest we even take the dogs down to the beach and they run around,
If the weather is rough we generally find something depending where we are, Of an evening I cook dinner then we either curl up infront of the telly all under a duvet or we play games/cards etc,
Last new year we went away with friends so there was 4 children between us ageing from 12 months to 15 years. not one of them got bored the whole week. We had a few film nights and did something everyday. It was really enjoyable and the kids loved it.
