Try Gopsall Farm (I think this is what is being referred to above). Telephone 01827 880212. They charge quarterly, in advance, about £50 odd a quarter. They did have some spare spots available last time I asked.
Security is not bad, and there are facilities to wash your van if you need to.
Thanks for all your kind words, i keep hopeing that something will work out, the caravan is a lovely little thing has no damp as my husband reseals it every summer and again before the winter, i use to love sitting in our van when we went away watching the world go by, our fav place to go was the Isle Of Wight and we use to have a seasonal pitch there but when the people sold the site the price went from £900 to £1600 for a season and with the ferry prices it would just have been to much, so we are hopeing things will sort them selfs out soon, thanks again for all your kind words.
thought i would just give you a thought i knoiw its not ideal but how many people park theirs in a side street or even on a main road and nothing seems to get done not 100% safe i guess but its a thought before getting rid completely my neighbour parked hers outside he own house for 6 months last year
gopsall farm are still advertising spaces.they are not far from us.we used to store our van there.its quite safe there.and mr & mrs lane are very helpful.
we are hoping not to have to sell ours incase work comes up anywhere and i can use the van to live in whilst away.had nearly a year living in van between 07/08.but with no proper work for 7 weeks and money owed to me i think it may be the home that goes first.
I hope things work out for you and they pick up so you can keep your van.
We struggled to get storage last year (and then the kind man damaged our van while it was being stored) but this year I've hit lucky my friend is now doing caravan storage on his farm (I've only been pestering him for 5 yrs)
We are moving into our caravan in December until we can find better and more suitable accommodation. Straight away a saving of over £250 off our monthly budget.
surfer01 we have been tempted to do that, we keep telling the kids we are going to move into the van and then move in with them over the winter months, got a feeling one day i will go to visit them and the will have left home with no forwarding address LOL.
