oh sorry your Honey is away, she will be back before you know it :) my Biba has the damp and is being repaired,i don't like seeing her in bits at all,yes i am emotionally attached to a tin can :)
Have you heard back with a price yet for the heater pipe to the back bedroom on the GT60?

I agree should not normally be too much of an issue on some vans. I think my brother in law mentioned that the dealer told him they have to re route /extend some piping underneath the van. It cannot be extended inside because the door is one side and the shower the other.

I went to my dealers to see how the Bretagne had it's rear heater vent routed, but they had sold it. The vent was where the 240v socket is on the 540, but I would guess that it would have to go under the van past the door and back up?
Could the vent be installed into the bathroom wall under the bottom bunk?
Only ~4 weeks until my GT60 540 arrives... Pity it has to go into storage straight away... :-(
The dealer hasn't got all the parts in yet to give us a price but he has said that it won't be as much as £200! He will phone us when he has priced the job up. Will let you all know what we decide. I've seen a plinth heater in Argos for about £30 which could screw into one of the bases in that bedroom so if it's going to cost more than £60 then we won't bother. He is talking about insulated pipes under the 'van.
It's horrible her not being here. She is easily visible so the huge gap where she normally sits seems so bare. Even at night her reflectors get lights shining on her so she's always "seen". I know i am sad and i just don't care lol. To me she is so much more than just a tin box lol
On my emails there is a link to the post and just under that is another link that takes you to the page where you can uncheck all the email notifications of posts that you have notifications for
I paid for a 'service wash' which until we got it home and I went upstairs (van is directly under bedroom window), I hadn't realised doesn't include cleaning the roof!!
Will pop back to dealer tomorrow and complain - having a quick look at the Pegusus they had on show today when I collected mine earlier today but could't look at because I had to be home to take 'the management' shopping.
just want to say that we love our "tin can" and would also be upset if it had to go away. Everyday our son asks to go home (whilst in the house), what he actually means is that he wants to go away in the caravan. We have used it 8 times so far this year and want to go to canterbury in Dec and then somewhere for new year. At the moment we have a blow heater in the back bedroom, then turn that off and open bathroom door to blow in but now you have mentioned it would love the heating taken through to the back. Please let me know how much it is as well worth doing if the price is right.
The back sofa/bed is a bit tight but never rucks up and our little one (who is almost 3) has never had any problems sleeping on it.
Does anyone know if you can buy a mattress topper to fit the front bed or if you just buy a normal bed one, and what size?
Sorry was also meant to say......thats terrible they dont clean the roof. My husband is anal about the roof being clean and he gives it a good clean and polish every 2 weeks without fail! Maybe i can start hiring him out. lol.
How old is you son? That's how i feel with my 'van lol
Our front bed is really uncomfortable so we will be getting a mattress topper before we go away in her again. I am thinking that it will need a kingsize topper as our bed needs a super kingsize fitted sheet. I've looked at them and will get one that has its own zip off sheet which means that once i've made up the bed all i will have to do is throw the topper on the bed :)
I've told dh to phone the dealer as soon as he gets home tomorrow and tell him that i am missing my honey and want her home lol
I find the super king size fits much better. Where have you seen the toppers? I desperately need one. We spent just over 2wks in France and bu the end it got a bit uncomfortable so if I have one could have a longer holiday. We hope to "go home" mid Dec to see the canterbury xmas markets....Last time to make use of our caravan before xmas arrives. This morning my son called it Fifi. We also have a very old mini that my husband is doing up and he calls that Fifi too. Not sure where that comes from. I have a name for it but its not very pc!!!!! Lol
We try to "go home" at least once a month (work permitting). I hope you let us all know as soon as Honey is home? And hope she feels better.
Cheryl take a look on ebay. They were doing them at the NEC for £55 but on ebay i think they are about £37 quid plus postage for ones with a cover on it. The cheapest elsewhere was in the Tesco Direct catalogue but they were about £60. In the shops they are even more expensive. So ebay is where i will get mine from. Fifi! I like it!
Dh phoned the dealer today and she is ready to come home!!!!!!!! Quoted over £160 for the heating so he said No!!
Seen a plinth heater in Argos that we can screw in for £30 so will go for that or carry on using my £4 radiator!
