------------- Think this year is to follow old meet friends for 2014.
If you cant do someone a good turn, don`t do them a bad one,its nice to be nice you know, and little things mean much more later in life.
Pete.
The blown air system if fine but I prefer to use an oil filled radiator as it seems to give off a better regulated heat. Of course it is personal preference and as long as you are cosy and warm in bed thats all that matters.
Cheers

yeah thats the trouble causing bloody thing, why cant it be on my side of the bed as far away fromhim as possible, in one of our other vans i used to sleep with my head on top of the heater so he couldnt get at it on one of his many dark hours trips to the little room in the van, he just couldnt seem to keep his hands of playing with a knob!!!
any more of it and im going to set the bloody thing and then remove it from the wall, sod him!!! only thing he will be left with then is to go outside and unplug the van!!!
all i can say is i hope you lot arent at the same site as us then.

does anyone know if you have to have the blown air on when its switched to electric or can you just let it emit heat out of the front of the fire instead of the outlets as they seem to be very poor in operation. i dont feel any warmth from the outlets when on 500 w with the thermostsat up full
we have two, placed to keep pipework warm overnight, running 60w each so they are fine for low power usage and they are small enough to fit under bunk units and do a great job. Cheap too! I have photos of them in-situ if required.

We often have ours on without the fan as it warms the van a bit quicker. Once the heaters hot we may then turn the fan on.
