Looking at a wiring diagram for a 13 pin plug, I do not see any difference between that and the older 12S plug. They bath have one pin each for the fridge supply (+) and one pin each for the Fridge Earth (-).

Why is the 13 pin better?

 Use TRI-FLOW to lubricate the electrical plugs and sockets, only thing is it,s hard to get hold of, but it does the job, it,s expensive to buy.

Some years ago I bought a wire brush set for cleaning the pins of a the caravan plugs & sockets.

This stopped any build up of corosion and kept them in tip top condition.

I have done a quick internet search but cannot find anyone that supplies this now.

You bet!!!

It was only about 4 inches long and it had a tube with wire brush on the inside for cleaning the exterior of the pins and a miniture bottle brush type end for going into the socket pins to clean the inside of them.

A brilliant bit of kit but unfortunately my workshop is 60 foot long by 18 foot wide.
I know it is in there somewhere, but where ????????????

WD40,yes i do,used it for years,some say it hardens the plastic but i have never had a problem

Tri-Flow spray on the first time out and it will last all season

not been able to find this stuff,do you know a supplier please.
