Lidls do a nice turkey breast joint which is good for cooking in the caravan. One feeds 6 of us when we have them so a couple should sort out a christmas with some to have cold.
Myself I'd prefer to have a nice steak & chips if we were away with the van but if proper christmas lunch is what you fancy, have a look in your local lidls & see if the turkey breast fillet is up to the mark.
Their christmas puddings & mince pies are lovely too. Only two out of the 6 of us eat christmas pud & mince pies & we love Lidls ones.
The thought of christmas relaxing in the caravan is lovely, I hope you enjoy it.

A few years ago before we went off turkey, the wife cooked one and took it with us. She then put it in the coolbox outside the caravan and we went to the pub at lunch time for a Xmas drink thinking that on our return all that needs to be doen is to warm it up and lunch is ready. Got back and took said turkey out of box only to find it frozen solid. Lunch was served at about 8 pm that night!
When we spend xmas in the 'van, I bought a large turkey thigh. I boned it, stuffed it with sage & onion and rolled it securing with string. Fitted in the oven brilliantly with a few roasters round it. Cheap, tasty and no hassle.
good luck with whatever you decide to do but your xmas sounds like its going to be wonderful.
I havent even considered spending an xmas in the van to be honest wouldnt know where to put all the kids usual mountain of presents for a start.me being me id book a restaurant near the campsite we were staying at and have our xmas dinner there.we havent cooked xmas dinner for 6 years now,too much hassle for us
