Hi Robin, its easier to close now but still is a pig to lock, I tried putting the key in and turning whilst open to see what was happening and to be honest, not much!
The lock latch moves in and out as the button is depressed, but doesnt stay firmly shut in the Locked position no matter which way you turn the key.
I have now given up trying with the dealer i bought it from, and have left the internal blade in the open position to stop anyone removing the casette from the outside.
Come first week in March i will return the van for servicing to the same Lunar dealer who fitted my mover, and get him to have a look at it. Three times back to where i bought it from without a positive result is just a step too far, and they have now lost my custom, Quite simply its costing me more in time, effort and petrol to keep returning to them than it would to simply take it to the dealer whos nearer to me, although i have also considered using a mobile service man for my future caravanning needs.
Thanks for your help,
Julia
